Cressi Desert Dry Snorkel

The Cressi Desert Dry is a dry top snorkel with one way purge valve that is ideal for snorkellers that are not so confident in the water or for those that want all the additional comforts and luxuries.

The splash guard at the top of the snorkel incorporates a special float that rises as the snorkel is taken below the surface and seals the snorkel entrance, helping to eliminate water egress, keep the snorkel dry and dramatically reduce the amount of purging needed after surfacing whilst snorkeling. The splash guard also helps to reduce water egress from lapping waves that might otherwise find their way into the snorkel.

The main bore of the snorkel is made from a flexible material that can be twisted and crushed without damaging the snorkel. This section also has a quick-release swiveling mask strap retainer. The clip can be permanently attached to the mask strap and just connected to the snorkel section as and when needed.

A corrugated silicone section allows full flexibility for mouthpiece position for maximum comfort. The internal surface of the corrugated section is completely smooth to reduce turbulence and ensure airflow is kept as high as possible.

The bottom section includes the purge chamber to collect any water that may be in the snorkel and a one-way valve that allows the water to flow out under gravity or be forced out by exhaling sharply. The mouthpiece is made from soft silicone that has been finished to give smooth comfortable edges.
